Meet Victoria! One baby who’s beyond adorable and super easy to make her smile. All you need to do is clap! Then she will clap with you, very happily. And the theme is….Lady Bug! (I think it’s pretty obvious). I had seen Victoria’s a couple of times at Joseph’s baptism and birthday party, but this was my first time photographing her as the main focus of the story. Needless to say, kid’s growth is pretty incredible.
Meet Mikha! This birthday party really was a celebration, where kids were enjoying some magic shows and adults were all dancing joyfully, it’s almost like a wedding!

Meet Joseph! Time really flies. Last time I saw Joseph was at his baptism, and now he has grown so much. I was really happy to see this big group of families again, they always have these family gatherings and all the children become tightly bonded and I get to see these children growing up. Guess what’s the theme for this birthday party? By the way, people tend to think one of the photographer’s perk is to have lobsters or some fancy meals. But to me, the real perk is all the sweets and deserts.

I can’t believe how fast time flew. Recall two years ago I was an assistant photographer at Joanna and Michel’s wedding, and now I have literally witnessed the formation of a lovely family. This really means something more than a job to me, it makes me feel connected as I share these stories. As for baby Dean, I’ll have to warn people with CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!

DECA’s 2013 International Career Development Conference took place in Anaheim, California where more than 500 Canadian/Ontario students headed down to compete against students from all over The States. I was lucky enough to document the whole trip, it was a trip with some academics, some laughter, some joyful tears, some unforgettable memories and some Canadian pride.
